Imagine a little puppy being adopted, just to return to the shelter 9 years later, nearly starved to death. After being returned as part of a cruelty case, Bluu started to recover and get stronger. Then he found his life in danger again when he was placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding issues. Luckily Philly Rescue Angels saved him in time, but now Bluu is wondering if he will ever have the family he’s always wanted. There must be someone who is looking for a companion. Bluu’s favorite activities are napping on the couch or a dog bed, going on walks, playing with other dogs or toys. At 10 years old, 40 pounds and a cute underbite, Bluu has plenty of life and love to give. He is an overall low-energy dog with medium-energy when it comes to playing with his doggie friends. He loves to play with others or but also respects others who may not want to play with him. When he’s not playing with others, he loves to enjoy a bone or play with toys. He would be fine as an only dog, or with other pets. He lives with a cat and mostly ignores him, but occasionally will chase. He’s great meeting strangers and would be fine with kids. He’s a low maintenance guy who does really enjoy walks around the city. He does pull sometimes but already working on walking better. He doesn’t love stairs, but is learning. He’s fully housebroken, crate trained, non-destructive, good in the car, affectionate, cuddly, independent, and clearly super grateful to have been saved.
