Dee Dee was a stray neighborhood cat. She was rescued by one of our team of trappers. Dee Dee has no left ear and frost bite on her right ear. Dee Dee is a quiet kitty who enjoys relaxing in her favorite spot on a shelf in a quiet corner. She is a cautious explorer who is a bit shy and not overly social, but enjoys visits from the shelter's volunteer members. Our volunteers have spent hours helping her adjust to life in the shelter and over time Dee Dee has made great strides. Volunteers can now pet her and she jumps down for food. She is not a lap cat. Dee gets along with all the cats in the room but is not attached to any particular cat. She would do well in a home with another quiet cat. Dee Dee would do best in a quiet home. Dee Dee needs someone who is willing to invest time in the socialization process. Like all cats coming from a shelter there is an adjustment period, and she needs just a bit of patience and understanding, allowing her to blossom and become comfortable in her forever home.
