MEET AVERY! We got a message about a dog that was injured and unable to walk and was in pain. She was flea infested. She was rushed to Dallas Urgent Care and x-rays revealed no broken bones. We started her on a steroids ( a miracle drug) and within a few weeks of therapy she stood up and has begun walking! She does walk like she's had a few glasses of wine... BUT she is WALKING and she runs and plays with other dogs with a passion! She is a happy girl and as sweet as can be!! This is another reason why you give dogs a chance before choosing euthanasia on paralyzed dogs!! THEY CAN RECOVER!! Avery is a happy girl and as sweet as can be!! She is such a sweet and affectionate girl! She just soaks in the love and she appreciates the kindness. She has a calm and gentle spirit and loves to be held in your arms and cuddled!
