Henry has been through a lot. Five months ago, he was hit by a car and needed two orthopedic surgeries. Just as he was starting to bounce back, he developed bladder stones and couldn’t pee at all, so he was rushed to urgent care. After emergency bladder surgery and recovery from a torn urethra, huge abscess, and beginning heartworm treatment, Henry’s finally coming out the other side. He’s about four years old, weighs 13 lbs, and sports a short tan coat. Quietly sweet and gentle, Henry gets along well with other dogs and welcomes strangers. He deserves someone who’ll appreciate how far he’s come and give him a soft place to land. Henry can’t be in homes with large dogs, kids under five, or apartments.
