About Henry
Click apply to start the adoption process. Henry is a resilient little Chihuahua with a heart of gold and plenty of love to give. Just four years old and sporting a handsome short tan coat, Henry has been through quite an ordeal: he bravely overcame two orthopedic surgeries after a car accident, survived an emergency bladder stone procedure, and is now receiving heartworm treatment. After months of medical challenges, it's truly uplifting to see Henry running happily around the backyard, living life to the fullest at last. Despite it all, Henry remains a sweet and deserving boy. He weighs around 13 pounds, makes friends easily with other dogs, and welcomes strangers warmly. He is fully house trained and has proven to be an affectionate companion. Henry is ready for a home where he’ll be safe, cared for, and appreciated—there are a few requirements: no children under five, no large dogs, and no apartment living. Foster or adoptive homes must be in the Dallas Metroplex or nearby areas, and a one-week home trial is included to ensure the perfect match. As a Capricorn (born January 1st!), Henry is as determined and loyal as they come. Give this incredible survivor the loving family he deserves—he’s proof that second chances lead to happy endings! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
