About Macaron
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Macaron, affectionately called Marco by his foster mom. This cheerful young pup was likely born in November 2022 and found his way to rescue after being discovered in St. Paul at the end of January. After a rough start with illness, Macaron recovered with lots of love, care, and some meds, and is now a happy, healthy, and bouncy boy ready for adventures. Macaron can be a little skittish at first, learning to trust and enjoy affection. He’s working hard on good manners like sitting before meals, going potty outside, and keeping his big paws off the counter. He’s discovering how fun snuggles and belly rubs are, even giving kisses to his foster sisters. Macaron enjoys playing with both dogs and cats under gentle supervision and absolutely loves a good game of fetch, always returning the toy to his humans. He follows his foster mom everywhere—she calls him her little shadow—even napping at her feet or occasionally following her into the shower! Macaron is looking for a forever family who will continue to help him grow in confidence and shower him with the love he now knows. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
