About Penny Jo
Penny Jo, or PJ for short, is a bright and playful girl who’s happiest when she’s the center of attention. She fills her days with toys—balls, ropes, bones—and always welcomes a good nap after a fun play session. Walks and outdoor play are favorites, and she listens well, picking up commands like sit, down, shake, and even communicating with her bark on cue. Smart is an understatement for her; she loves learning and responds well to direction. PJ is polite but prefers a laid-back introduction when meeting new dogs. She does best with calm canine companions and really isn’t a fan of cats. Older kids (12 and up) are her sweet spot; she’s patient, gentle, and enjoys hanging out with respectful young people. She’s house trained, kennel trained, and ready for a home where her social, affectionate side can shine. Fun fact: With a June 9th birthday, Penny Jo is a Gemini, so she’s curious and lively by nature. Penny Jo is in Zimmerman, MN, waiting for a family who values companionship, a few good walks, and the joy of having a bright, loving dog greet them each day. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
