Laura
AvailableLaura is a young, small mixed-breed Chiweenie with a brown and black short coat, living in Ladson, SC. At just over a year old, she’s been spayed and is fully vaccinated. Laura isn’t yet fully house trained, but she’s working on it with her foster family. She doesn’t have special needs.
About Laura
Laura has quickly won everyone over with her gentle, affectionate nature. At her first adoption event, she handled the noise and crowds calmly, soaking up attention from both people and pups. She enjoys being held and can't get enough cuddles, making her a perfect lap companion. While she's not fully potty trained yet, she’s nearly there and eager to please—her foster is working with her daily. Laura sleeps well in her crate through the night and happily gives out endless kisses. She's open to life as either an only dog or with other friendly dogs around, and she’s working on building her confidence in new situations. Laura came into rescue after showing up on a family’s doorstep, with no microchip and nobody coming forward to claim her. She’s now spayed and up to date on vaccines, ready for a loving home. Her foster is helping her with socialization as she discovers the world, one gentle step at a time. Because she’s just settling into rescue, her personality will keep shining through with time. She’s available in Ladson, SC and will only be adopted locally within a 2-hour radius of the Tri-County area (exceptions for seniors or hard-to-place dogs). If you already have a pet or have previously owned one in your name, a vet reference will be required if Laura is under 3 years old.
