About Minnie

Minnie arrived after being surrendered from a tough situation along with her companion Tootie. She isn’t quite ready for adoption yet; Minnie is currently focused on nursing her upcoming litter and will be available a couple of months after her puppies are weaned and she's spayed. At the moment, she comes across as quietly reserved—maybe just catching up on rest—but Minnie allows new people into her space and adjusts to new situations without much resistance. Even early on, she’s shown signs of getting along with other dogs and cats and will be retested as she gets back to her usual self. Minnie is a small, brindle Yorkie mix, around three years old, with a medium-length coat. Her weight will be clearer once she's finished being a mom. Check back soon to meet her puppies or see more updates about Minnie’s journey. Adoptions are limited to within a two-hour radius of the tricounty area, with the exception of some seniors or harder-to-place dogs. A vet reference is required for anyone interested in adopting Minnie due to her age. Saturday is adopted as the only meet-and-adopt day, but arrangements can sometimes be made to bring a specific animal to an event if requested and approved. Ready to fall in love?
