Sweet Millie was found as a stray in the rural Lowcountry, and nobody ever came looking for her. This little, 20 lb, lovebug is as friendly as can be, and would love a family to keep her company as she enters her senior years. She walks nicely on a leash and rests comfortably in a crate. DOB Jan. 2019 WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required, which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. ADOPTION FEE of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap, so thank you for understanding and helping us save as many as possible. We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know via email and we will try to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee the animal will be at the event without an approved application.
