About Chester
Chester is all spirit and attitude wrapped up in a tricolor, athletic Jack Russell Terrier mix. He came into rescue carrying some baggage and keeps his circle pretty tight—his affection extends mostly to his foster mom. As it stands, Chester isn't fond of other dogs, cats, or unfamiliar people, and he needs a home with no children. Chester's an outdoorsy type who thrives on activity, making him a great fit for an active person who enjoys long walks or runs. He’s a treat-driven learner, energetic and playful, and he’s working hard to master leash skills and potty-training with some progress so far. This is not a plug-and-play pet; Chester will require an experienced, patient adopter willing to give him the time and understanding to work through his stubborn side. Check back for updates as he makes progress in foster care. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
