About Lulu
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Lulu is a beautiful, large German Shepherd Dog looking for her forever home. She has a happy, playful demeanor and a protective streak, making her a wonderful companion and reliable watchdog. With friendly manners toward strangers both at home and during walks, Lulu impresses everyone she meets. She is especially playful with children, adding joy and laughter to any family setting. Currently, Lulu gets along great with the senior male GSD in her caregiver’s home, but she hasn't had the chance to meet other dogs since arriving in January. Although she hasn’t been around cats, her strong prey drive toward squirrels indicates she’s best in a cat-free environment. She's so eager to be part of indoor life—she’s kept outside now, but truly wants to come inside and be with her people. An excellent alarm barker, Lulu alerts her family appropriately. Her leash skills are shaping up well—she initially leads but soon settles into a calm walk. She enjoys car rides and has traveled long distances with ease. Lulu delights in playing with squeaky toys and absolutely loves swimming in ponds and creeks, making her an excellent companion for an active family. Lulu is one of the resilient survivors from the Eaton fire in Pasadena, now waiting in Winters, CA, for a loving new family. Whether you meet her before or after her scheduled spay, her adoption process will ensure her health and happiness moving forward. This could be the start of something paw-some.
