About Sadie

Sadie is a 1-year-old spayed female German Shepherd/Husky mix with an open, curious spirit. She weighs about 65 lbs and was raised alongside her sibling Blaze, who is also available for adoption. While she’s a young, energetic dog who loves to play and run, Sadie quickly shifts to relaxation mode—usually by your feet—after stretching her legs. She’s done well with the children in her current home, and her easygoing nature has made her a favorite with the two resident Yorkies as well as other neighborhood dogs. Sadie hasn’t been exposed to cats, so a feline-free home is best. She’s lived mostly outdoors but sleeps inside an enclosed area and hasn’t had accidents there, so she’s considered housetrained. While she hasn’t had much leash experience, she’s solid in a car and enjoys toys, particularly anything squeaky. Sadie’s caretakers adopted her and Blaze only recently but realized two energetic dogs were more than they could handle. Now Sadie is searching for someone ready to give her the exercise, attention, and affection she thrives on. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
