About Birdee
Miss Birdee Pruitt almost didn’t get her shot at happiness, but thanks to some determined foster friends, she left the euthanasia list behind for brighter days in Whitewright, TX. Inspired by Sandra Bullock’s role in ‘Hope Floats’ (filmed in the same area), Birdee is part Anatolian Shepherd and all charm, quirks and mischief included. She’s got an expressive set of ears, an inquisitive stare, and the growing frame of a future 80+ pound gentle giant—Birdee weighed 63 lbs already at seven months, with her coat and markings hinting at her ranch roots. This girl knows her way around ranch life, and she’s curious (though careful) about the sheep and chickens—yet most at home minding goats or tumbling with her puppy siblings. Water is her happy place; whether it’s a kiddy pool or a creek, she’ll turn any patch of blue into her personal playground. Vaccinations are current, and she’s already spayed and microchipped. Birdee gets along well with other dogs and has a gentle, sturdy nature that fits right in with country life or a family that values a fun, energetic companion who won’t trouble the livestock. She’s ready to soak up affection and adventure in a home that matches her lively spirit. Every animal’s journey deserves such a second chance. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
