About Mr. Jones
Mr. Jones is a big, expressive Anatolian Shepherd mix with plenty of personality packed into his 75-pound frame. He's probably closer to 80 pounds at his ideal weight, and still working on filling out after a tough startāhe was picked up out in the country, severely underweight, but quickly bounced back with hearty meals and proper care at ARFhouse. Despite his age (about six or seven), heās got the pep and enthusiasm of a much younger dog. Leash walks are a favorite, though with his size and strength, heāll need someone comfortable handling a powerful dog. Mr. Jones is affectionate, loves car rides, and is happiest with an active family who has a big, fenced yard for him to exploreāhe can clear a five-foot chain link, so privacy fencing is a must. Apartment living wonāt cut it for him. With the right environment and some attention, this loving, loyal boy has all the makings of a fantastic family member.
