About Mr. Jones
This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet Mr. Jones, a charming Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his size! He tips the scales at 75 pounds, with his ideal weight a touch closer to 80 pounds. Mr. Jones is estimated to be around 6-7 years old, but you would never guess it from his lively spirit—he’s ready to take on life and adventures with new friends. After his rescue from the country where he was found emaciated, Mr. Jones has blossomed into a vibrant, eager, and strong companion at Animal Refuge Foundation. He thrives on affection, loves car rides, and is always up for fun. With his size and energy, he’s best suited for a family with an active lifestyle who can take him on walks and provide him with a spacious fenced yard. He’s not a match for apartment living and will need a privacy fence since he’s been known to jump a five-foot chain link! He walks well on a leash but will need someone able to handle his strength. Every adoption at Animal Refuge Foundation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing, a microchip, and current heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Mr. Jones is ready to share his love with a family ready to keep up with his energetic nature and give him the forever home he deserves. To meet Mr. Jones, adoptions are by appointment only at the Sherman, Texas facility once an application is submitted. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
