Hannah
AvailableHannah is a large Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd mix, currently living in Whitewright, TX. She is an adult female who has been spayed and is comfortable around both dogs and cats. At around 3 years old, Hannah has a history as a livestock guardian and thrives in environments with other animals.
About Hannah
Hannah came from a hoarding situation in Oklahoma, so she’s well-versed in living with other dogs, but people still make her nervous. She’ll take a treat out of your hand but isn’t interested in being petted. Leash walks aren’t her thing—at least not yet. In her past, she lived alongside goats and cats (but not chickens), and since joining us, she’s proven to be a strong and attentive guardian for goats and seems content with barn cats too. Hannah is estimated to be around 3 years old and is likely a Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd mix. If you’re looking for a large guardian dog for goats and are patient enough to build trust over time, Hannah could be your perfect fit. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
