About Liberty
Meet Liberty! This beautiful girl arrived at a high-kill Houston shelter with her newborn puppies, facing euthanasia multiple times. Luckily, a kind foster stepped up just in time, and Liberty raised her babies safely until they found their forever homes. Now, itβs her turn to shine. At around two years old and weighing about 40 pounds, Liberty is a Carolina Dog and Australian Cattle Dog mix with adorable speckled paws. She has a medium energy level, enjoying walks, playtime, and the occasional zoomies. But she also loves to chill beside her humans, waiting for head scratches or belly rubs. Liberty is crate trained and potty trained, and sheβs learning to remain calm on walks, thanks to her food motivation. She does best in a cat-free home and is friendly with other dogs. Though she can get a bit excited when spotting them on a leash, her foster is guiding her toward staying focused. Liberty is an affectionate and adaptable companion, always ready for a car ride, even if she sometimes gets a little carsick. She's an ideal pet for someone ready to give her a chance to explore life further. Currently fostered in Houston, Texas, sheβs open for adoption nationwide. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
