Cleo (for Cleopatra) was left tied out in front of a rural East Texas animal shelter. She appeared to be in good health and was very happy to be off the leash that tied her. She is a very happy girl that loves to play and loves people. It is believed she may be a Carolina Dog mix and because of that, she would love to find a family that is very active and can keep up with her inherited desire to stay busy and utilize the incredible intelligence these dogs possess. She is not overly active, however she would be happy with another dog to spend her days playing with. She is the perfect sized medium dog. She has not been introduced to cats but the breed has a natural prey drive so she may not do well with cats. Cleo is currently in the Houston, TX area however transportation can be arranged. A portion of her adoption fee includes the transportation.
