About Liberty
Meet Liberty, a charming girl who has had her share of challenges but is ready for a loving home. This resilient pup arrived at a high-kill shelter in Houston with her five-day-old puppies and faced the euthanasia list six times before a foster stepped in to save them. She's now done a fantastic job raising her pups, all of whom are happily adopted! At around two years old, Liberty weighs approximately 40 pounds and is thought to be a mix of Carolina Dog and Australian Cattle Dog. With her medium energy level, she loves playing, going for walks, and enjoying her favorite toys. While Liberty enjoys some energetic zoomies, she also knows how to relax next to her humans, often scooting in for head scratches or belly rubs. Liberty is house trained and is currently learning kennel training. She gets along well with other dogs but can be overly excited when she spots them on walks. With her food motivation, training is progressing well. She would thrive in a cat-free home and enjoys car rides, although long trips may make her a bit carsick. Liberty is playful, independent, and affectionate, making her a wonderful companion for anyone looking to bring a loyal friend into their life. Liberty is fostered in Houston, Texas, but is available for adoption nationwide. Her adoption fee of $500 includes transport to her forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
