About Spot in OH Laid
Spot in Beacon, NY, has come a long way since arriving from a cruelty case in Virginia. Initially timid, he's grown more self-assured day by day. Though he doesn’t yet know formal commands, his intelligence and love for treats make him a quick learner, especially with some patience and plenty of his favorite freeze-dried liver snacks. Spot warms up to new people when they come with goodies, and he enjoys the company of the staff at his boarding facility. This gentle giant, a Great Pyrenees, is leash trained and thrives on leisurely outdoor strolls, nose to the ground, enjoying the world around him. His easygoing nature means he’s not a digger and barks only to alert you of the delivery truck passing by. One of his cutest habits is how he treats his bowl like treasure, playfully trotting away with it when it’s empty. While Spot would do well as the only dog, he can also live comfortably with a calm, laid-back female companion. His ideal home would be with someone experienced with large breeds, in a quieter setting with a securely fenced yard. If you’re seeking a low-key, affectionate cuddle buddy, Spot could be the perfect match! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
