Meet Mikey! The shelter said "Maltese Mix" but I am not sure I have ever seen a more mysterious genetic recipe. I mean, did those ears come off of a Papillon, or what? What I do know is that he is 10lbs of softness, energy, and personality! He is suspected to be 2 years old, but he is still rockin' a little bit of puppy vibe, so he might be a little younger than 2. He does fine in a crate, but slept on the bed through the night with no problems. He has taken to my German Shepherd mix and Huskey mix like a duck takes to water. He has enjoyed exploring the house and is getting into the rhythm very quickly, to include following like a wee shadow. One caveat with this little guy: it is best to keep him in an enclosed yard or space, or on a leash. He doesn't run away, but he gets very carried away with his explorations and can get a little too far too quickly. That's probably a by-product of his "street life". So far he is great meeting humans and dogs. Don't know about cats or children. I have heard him whine a little, but in 24 hours I have only heard him bark once. He is housebroken and will give you sweet kisses and tickle you with sniffs. He is as big as he is going to get, so if you need an apartment size pup, a non-shedding dog, and/or one that travels around town or to your workplace easily, he's just might be your sweet little sidekick!
