Meeka is the steady, golden-hearted half of her bonded pair with Ragnar. She radiates calm and affection, often choosing to be close—sometimes very close—to her people. As a Labrador Retriever mix in her senior years, Meeka brings a soothing energy into any room and has a knack for helping others, especially her best friend Ragnar, settle in and relax. Though patience and nurturing define her indoors, get her outside and a spirited, playful side appears. Walks become an adventure of sniffing every new scent, and she gets a real kick out of exploring at her own pace. Meeka has service dog training, so her manners around new people and animals are excellent. She’s naturally gentle, friendly with other dogs, and lives to offer comfort. True to her Labrador nature, she’s a cuddler who enjoys being fussed over by family members. Meeka is great with kids—especially those 10 and up—who appreciate her laid-back vibe.
