About Ragnar
Ragnar is bonded with his companion Meeka and they need to stay together. Ragnar is a young, goofy Husky mix with a playful, adventurous streak and a soft spot for his friend. He’s curious about the world but tends to be a bit shy when it comes to receiving affection—if you reach out a hand, he’ll often move away unless he’s already feeling safe and relaxed. Once he’s comfortable, though, he’s happy to join you for a good cuddle next to Meeka. He looks to her for guidance and reassurance, and their connection helps him become a gentler, more confident dog. Ragnar is social and easy-going with other dogs—he enjoys playtime with pups of all sizes and is always respectful. He’s learning leash manners but can pull, especially when he spots squirrels or wants to greet another dog. His recall needs some work unless Meeka leads the way; he’ll always follow her. Ragnar could thrive in a home with respectful, older children (about 10+) who understand his need for personal space. While he doesn’t have much interest in toys, he’ll never say no to a Kong with peanut butter or a tasty treat. He’s looking for an active home that will give him the time and space he needs to blossom. Ideally, his forever family will be patient, adventurous, and happy to keep Meeka by his side.
