About Nigel

Meet Nigel, your potential new little shadow! This affectionate Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix, around 1-2 years old and weighing about 12 lbs, is all about companionship. Found wandering in an industrial area near New Orleans, it’s clear Nigel was once lost but is now ready for a loving home where he’ll never feel abandoned again. Nigel adores being around people and quickly attaches himself to his human companions, especially men. Whether you're binge-watching your favorite shows or exploring the backyard, Nigel will happily accompany you, embracing all of life's adventures with enthusiasm. He loves to interact with playful dogs and cats, and has even been great with young children, though he gets excited and enjoys jumping up to say hello. While he’s not perfect just yet, Nigel is making good progress with crate training and house manners, requiring a bit more patience and consistency. His primary motivators are love, praise, and attention, rather than food, which can make bonding a unique experience. If you're looking for a playful companion who will fill your days with joy and love, Nigel is eager to meet you. He's up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped, and ready to jump into your life. Ready to make your home a happier place? Apply to adopt Nigel today!
