Meet Icee, a 1.5-year-old Husky from New Orleans! This lovely girl weighs around 43 lbs and has a striking black and cream coat. Icee radiates sweetness and courage despite facing challenges early in life. Although she may take a moment to warm up to new people, a little patience goes a long way with her. She’s friendly with other dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household. While her interactions with cats are unknown, her accommodating nature suggests she could adapt. Icee is still learning the ropes of home living, including crate training, and has made great strides with just a few accidents. She thrives with an active family who understands the spirited Husky lifestyle. Icee would benefit from a secure, 6-foot fenced yard to safely explore and let loose. A family with respectful children would also be ideal, giving her the time she needs to build confidence. Currently, Icee is undergoing heartworm treatment, which is covered by the rescue.
