Meet Cozy 1.5 years old ~55 lbs Cozy is exactly what his name promises - soft-hearted, sweet, and impossible not to love. With his adorable blocky head and gentle nature, he's the kind of dog people fall for instantly... and it's no surprise he's quickly become a staff favorite at our facility. Recently found wandering as a stray for several days, Cozy was rescued by a previous adopter and showed immediate gratitude. From the moment he was safe, he leaned right in - sweet, affectionate, and ready to trust again. He does well with other dogs. Cozy loves people and has a calm, gentle demeanor that makes him easy to be around. He's still filling out and would benefit from gaining a few healthy pounds, but he's already well on his way with proper care and good meals. He will be neutered and is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease, which has already been started and will be fully covered by Take Paws Rescue. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
