About Cozy

Cozy is 1.5 years old and about 55 lbs, living up to his name with a gentle soul and a soft heart. He has a big, blocky head and eyes that tell you he wants nothing more than a spot near his people. After several days as a stray, Cozy was found by a previous adopter who recognized his good nature immediately. Since then, he’s leaned into affection and built trust again with staff and volunteers, quickly becoming a favorite at the facility. He’s calm, sweet, and especially gentle with kids—he just wants to be around people and soak up their love. Cozy also does well with other dogs and doesn't mind sharing space. He's still gaining a bit of healthy weight, but good care and meals are putting him on the right track. Cozy is already neutered and vaccinations are current. He’s undergoing heartworm treatment, which will be fully covered by Take Paws Rescue. If you want a companion who is loyal, relaxed, and sincerely thankful for a safe home, Cozy is ready to put his wandering days behind him. He thrives on love and looks for a family to match his gentle spirit. Start your journey together! Apply now.
