Lincoln is a large, neutered male Terrier/Mixed Breed with a lovely mix of white, cream, and gray colors. At around 5 years and 11 months old, he’s an adult dog currently soaking up the New Orleans, LA atmosphere. He is house trained and up to date on vaccinations.

About Lincoln

Lincoln has spent more than a year in rescue, and it’s a wonder he’s still looking for his person. He’s about 5 years old and carries his 70 lb frame with the heart of a true couch potato. Lincoln loves naps in any spot—on the couch, in a crate, on his bed or yours, shaded or sunny, even in the car. He’ll rouse for food, though; snacks of any kind top his list, from biscuits and cheese to carrots and berries. While Lincoln is polite with other dogs and happy to walk along with his foster siblings, what he really wants is to be the only pet at home. He finds a house with kids overwhelming and will do best with just adults—peace and quiet suit him. Despite what he’s lived through, Lincoln gives his whole heart to the people he trusts. If you want a loyal, low-key companion and your ideal day involves hanging out at home or relaxing in the garden, Lincoln could be exactly the quiet shadow and friend you’ve been looking for.
