About Lilly

Lilly is a sweet Great Pyrenees who has overcome a rough past. Around 4-6 years old, she came into SPIN rescue clearly undernourished, at just 70 lbs; we believe her healthier weight should be between 90-100 lbs. Found near a dumpster with her loyal heart intact, Lilly waited for her companion, Delaney, to be freed. It’s clear this girl has had a tough life, likely having endured abuse, as she's sensitive to any pressure around her neck. She has some scars on her nose and legs, reminders of her time on the streets. Fortunately, Lilly has transformed in her foster home into a gentle and affectionate dog. She adores children, especially her favorite 8-year-old, and while she's often calm and low energy, she has been known to get playful with her zoomies and enjoys splashing her feet in the pool. She gets along well with other dogs and would need a canine companion in her forever home. While she has improved her interaction with cats on her foster property, she can be cautious around strangers. Mostly house trained, she’s still learning to feel secure with leash walking due to her sensitivity. A secure yard is crucial, as she can be a runner. Lilly is now spayed and has so much love to give after all she's been through. She deserves a patient adopter who can help her continue to grow. You can apply to meet Lilly and start your journey together at the SPIN Rescue website.
