Meet Violet! This sweet, gentle Great Pyrenees mix puppy, still in her early months, weighs about 30 lbs and is expected to grow into a large 90 lb companion. Rescued from a tough start in rural Texas, she came in with her mom and siblings and had to be shaved due to burs and mats. Soon, her lush, fluffy coat will return. Violet is a bit shy initially, but she quickly warms up to those who offer her patience and affection. She’s great with kids and would thrive in a family environment. Her goofy personality shines through when she jumps into your lap seeking attention. Not only is she friendly with dogs and cats, she also enjoys snuggling and playing, and she must have a doggy playmate to help teach her good manners. This little lady is crate trained, almost fully house trained, and while she does well in the car, she has been known to experience car sickness occasionally. Violet is suitable for apartment living as long as she gets her daily exercise. She’s typically quiet and doesn't bark much. Violet is ready to put her rough past behind her and step into a loving home. She is pre-adoption ready and will be spayed and fully vaccinated before joining her new family starting August 11th.
