About Max

Max is a 6-month-old male Great Pyrenees, a handsome and sturdy pup currently weighing around 80 lbs. With his large paws and an even larger heart, he’s a favorite among neighbors during daily walks. Social and friendly, Max does well with children, although his size means supervision is required. In his foster home, he gets along well with dogs of all sizes and enjoys playful moments, followed by long naps and some solo time with his toys. His curiosity extends to small animals; he’s intrigued by rabbits and squirrels but has not yet met any cats. Max is both potty and leash trained, as well as familiar with basic commands. While he prefers cool stone floors for sleeping, he enjoys car rides and does well in his crate. Rescued at just 10 weeks, he experienced seizures initially but has been seizure-free for four months on phenobarbital and is gradually being weaned off medication. Neutered and up to date on vaccines, Max is ready for his forever home. This can be your opportunity to adopt a gentle giant. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
