Meet Oliver, a sweet 10-year-old Maltese gentleman ready to embrace life as a cherished family pet. Weighing in at just 7 pounds, he’s a tiny fellow with a gentle heart. Oliver came to us as a retired breeding dog, so many aspects of everyday life are still new to him. After years of a different kind of existence, he deserves all the love, comfort, and attention that comes with being part of a family. While he’s a bit shy around new people, Oliver has a sweet nature that shines through with a little patience. With time, he’ll learn that the world isn’t so frightening. It’ll be rewarding to witness his confidence grow as he discovers all the wonderful things life has to offer. Since he hasn't lived as a typical pet, Oliver will need some help with potty training. However, he's making good progress with crate training. With a consistent routine and encouragement, we believe he will continue to improve. Oliver is neutered, current on vaccinations, and he will receive a full dental cleaning before his adoption. He’s not looking for anything extravagant—just a warm bed, gentle hands, and a family to love him for the rest of his life. After spending 10 years without knowing what it’s like to be a beloved companion, it’s time for Oliver to find out!
