About Brownie
Meet Brownie! This playful 5-month-old girl is ready to find her forever family. Brownie's journey began a few months back when her siblings were surrendered to the shelter. While her previous family initially chose to keep her, they recently found it challenging to manage two dogs and decided to let Brownie join her siblings in searching for a new home. She's a sweet and happy puppy who thrives on attention and forming new friendships. Brownie adores other dogs and would love to have a canine playmate. She’s also had some interaction with our shelter cats; after a gentle swat from one, she took the hint and backed off politely. Being a typical 5-month-old puppy, Brownie is still learning basic skills. We're teaching her manners, crate training, leash walking, and potty training. She's quick to pick things up, and with patience and positive reinforcement, she’s on her way to becoming a wonderful companion. With a mix of Husky and Australian Shepherd in her, you can expect her to be an active and intelligent dog, eager for engagement and family time. Currently, Brownie weighs around 25 pounds and we estimate she’ll reach approximately 45 pounds when fully grown. She’s vaccinated and will be spayed before heading to her new home. Now is the perfect time to adopt a puppy like Brownie, who is not only learning but also showing a fun personality. She just needs someone ready to invest the time to help her thrive.
