About Casper

Casper is a charming 2-year-old, 12-pound Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua mix searching for a loving home where he can truly feel secure. He came to us from a hoarding situation, landing in a shelter before being rescued by Take Paws Rescue. Though still adjusting to the world, he has a warm heart and a gentle nature waiting to bloom Casper is shy and timid, often uncertain about new experiences, but with a little patience and love, he will thrive. He's eager to connect with a kind family who understands that building trust takes time. However, he has a strong preference: he must be in a cat-free home, as he firmly believes he should reign alone in his haunted mansion. Currently heartworm negative, Casper simply needs the right environment to feel at ease. Are you the special someone ready to bring this sweet soul into your life?
