Remi is a 2.5-year-old Cairn Terrier mix with a vibrant personality and a love for life. Rescued from a ditch, he'll thrive in a loving home where he can play and explore safely. He’s friendly and outgoing, making friends with both adults and kids alike, as well as every dog and cat he meets. Cairn Terriers are known for their spirited and independent nature, and Remi embodies this—he’s energetic and enjoys digging and barking, though he also shows a tender, loyal side. To be successful in his new home, he requires another playful dog companion and a secure fenced yard. His adopter should ideally be home most of the time, as Remi still needs a bit of help with housebreaking. He pulls on the leash at first but settles down while walking, though he gets excited when he spots other dogs. Remi knows his name but is occasionally a bit selective about coming when called. He can sit on command, especially for treats, and could benefit from some obedience training. Traveling in the car is a joy for him; just tether him safely to prevent any leap-out moments.
