About Teddy & Bruno
Teddy & Bruno are a loving pair of 12-year-old miniature poodles, deeply bonded since birth. They previously faced challenges when their owner had to leave them behind due to illness, leading them to be returned to our care. Upon rescuing them, they needed extensive grooming due to severe matting, but now they are ready for a new home. This duo thrives on attention and will happily curl up in your lap if you sit down. Their leash training is limited, but they've been good with short walks and know their names. While they are timid around men and may bark at newcomers, they warm up quickly. These gentle pups have done well with respectful children aged 10 and up, although they are not particularly playful — Teddy might engage in a toss with a small ball, while Bruno prefers a more independent approach. Both are housebroken but don’t signal when they need to go outside, so they require regular bathroom breaks every 4-6 hours. They are crate trained and sleep comfortably on dog beds or furniture at night. A secure fenced yard would be ideal for them, though they need supervision outdoors due to potential threats from birds. Teddy has one tooth and sometimes lets his tongue hang out, while Bruno has had all his teeth removed but maintains a good appetite with softened food. Regular grooming every 6-8 weeks is essential for their care, which prospective adopters should be prepared for. They are up to date on their vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and have a combined adoption fee of $350, for which they cannot be separated. These sweet boys are looking for a loving forever home together. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
