Gemma and Nora are two charming terrier mixes looking for a forever home together. Nora, approximately a year old, weighs 10 pounds, while 2-year-old Gemma tips the scales at 9 pounds. These two love to snuggle and play, always seeking a lap to curl up on. They thrive on companionship and have formed a strong bond that we want to preserve by adopting them as a pair. Currently residing in a foster home with senior dogs and two cats, they’re eager to learn and adapt. Having moved around a lot before coming to Second Chance, Gemma and Nora are still building their confidence and will do best in a home with someone experienced in dog care. They’ve taken to clicker training nicely and respond to commands like "come." They need to be introduced to leash walking, so a secure yard is a must. While crate training would be beneficial for their housebreaking, they have a good understanding of pee pad training. They enjoy playing with tough toys, and Gemma even plays fetch with Frisbees! Watchful owners will need to guide them with introductions to new people, especially kids aged 12 and up. Both girls are spayed and current on vaccinations, but their adoptive family should be prepared for their unique quirks.
