About Rhodes
Meet Rhodes, a remarkable 1.5-year-old, 100-pound Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix. Imagine a teddy bear, but larger, adorned with a lion’s mane, and you've got Rhodes. His beautiful brown coat feels luxurious, and his charming face invites endless smooches. This gentle giant is not just a magnificent presence; he’s truly a loveable character who gives hugs like only he can. Rhodes thrives in the company of other dogs. He’s surprisingly submissive, preferring to join in their activities rather than be the top dog. Kids? Rhodes gets along well with older, respectful ones who understand his size. Unfortunately, he’s not fond of cats and thinks they’d enjoy a chase—which they vehemently disagree with. With an energy level of 5/10, Rhodes enjoys moderate outings, but he’s also content lounging at home. He walks politely on a leash, though he might suddenly bolt if a squirrel enters the scene. At home, he’s potty-trained and has some basic commands down, although a crate isn’t his favorite place. This charming boy has a lot of growing up to do and is looking for a family ready to nurture his sweet spirit. Is Rhodes the companion you need? Click apply to start the adoption process.
