About Elsie Jo

Meet Elsie Jo, a charming patch tabby rescued from barn life. While being spayed, a volunteer noticed that this lovely lady might be better suited for a cozy indoor home as she is around eight years old, but with her petite size, she looks much younger. Lasting injuries from her barn days, including a broken tail with a couple of bumps, haven’t dampened her spirit; they just add to her character. Elsie Jo loves being petted and enjoys cozy lap time rather than jumping around. If you’re looking for a cuddly kitty who’s content to lounge on the couch, Elsie Jo fits the bill perfectly. She would thrive as the sole queen in a single-adopter or couple home, but she can coexist with another friendly cat, as long as that cat isn’t overly social. Her ideal family may also have older, respectful children. Now ready for a loving forever home, Elsie Jo has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her birthday is September 4, 2018, and her adoption fee is $95. Click apply to start the adoption process.
