About Buddy

Meet Buddy, a handsome tabby who joined the Second Chance family from an overcrowding situation. He exudes sweetness but tends to be a bit cautious. In his foster home, Buddy has blossomed; he enjoys observing the world from his favorite corner perch. While he prefers to approach for pets on his own terms, he’s quite content with his own company. This laid-back feline would make a great companion for someone looking for affectionate yet independent company. Buddy thrives on wet food, which is a delightful way to bond with him. He does have food sensitivities, so he requires a special dry food to maintain his health and keep his coat in prime condition. He is also FIV-positive but can lead a long and healthy life with regular vet visits and a balanced diet. Ideal for a single adopter, a couple, or a family with older, respectful kids, Buddy enjoys a calm environment where he can lounge and gaze out the window. While he likely prefers to be the only cat due to his food sensitivity, he might coexist with a calm, non-assertive cat if they have separate food bowls. If you’d like to meet Buddy, you can arrange a meet and greet at his foster home upon an approved application. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find his forever home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
