About Dumpling
Meet Dumpling, a small tabby with big personality. He came from a difficult startāone of many cats left outside with no shelter or food after their elderly owner's passing. Trappers brought Dumpling to safety, and he soon found a home, but was returned after a few months when he didnāt get along with another new cat or bond with one adopter. Back at Second Chance, Dumpling returned to playing happily with the other cats, running and chasing with surprising kitten-like energy for his age. Dumpling is curious and playful, but a bit hesitant right now after so much change. He will relax and lean into pets if approached slowly, especially when lying down. Bring out a wand toy and his confidence comes right outāplaytime is the way to his heart. Dumpling would thrive in a quieter home with a steady routine and patient adopter, maybe a single person, couple, or a family with older, gentle children. Ideally, thereās a friendly cat companion for him. Commitment to daily play sessions, gentle affection, and treats will help Dumpling settle and blossom into a devoted friend. Heās neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Adopters must live within an hour of Grand Rapids. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
