Meet Romano, a striking brown and gold tabby who along with many other cats were in a home, allowed to breed uncontrollably, and when the elderly owner died, no one to care for the cats. These indoor cats were forced out of the home into the outside with no shelter, food, water, etc. A terribly sad situation. Trappers were able to trap many cats and 10 of them have made their way to Second Chance. Romano has slowly been coming out of his shell, trusting we humans can be trusted. Romano appreciates a gentle approach and gentle pets. He is still acclimating but everyday we see more and more he is becoming comfortable. Romano needs a quieter, routine environment. He would do best with a single adopter or a couple. He is a good roommate to the other cats but doesn't necessarily need a friend. Romano has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Romano has an approximate birthdate of 02/01/2023. His adoption fee is $95.
