About Viola

Meet Viola! This small and adorable girl is not your typical lap dog—she thrives in an active environment. Having been surrendered by a family who sought a calm companion, Viola is all about fun and adventure. She’s around 1 year old and weighs just 8.3 pounds. While her parentage is a mix that includes Shih Tzu and Miniature Schnauzer, she embodies a vibrant spirit that's all her own. Viola loves to socialize and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She’s currently living with a 65-pound Doberman puppy and can match his energy level easily. However, she can be mouthy during play and tends to jump, so she may not be ideal around very young children without proper training. Viola is still mastering her house manners but is already crate trained and getting the hang of potty training. This little bundle of energy requires daily runs and mental stimulation, ready to take on sniff walks or games. While she enjoys cuddling when tired, it's not common for her; she prefers to stay busy and on the go. Viola must be adopted into a home with a fenced yard and a playmate who can keep up. She needs door control due to her small size—she might bolt if a door is left open. If you're looking for a high-energy companion who brings joy and laughter to your life, Viola could be the perfect fit. Regular grooming will also be part of your commitment, required every 6 weeks. This little lady is currently in Hampton, VA, and available for an adoption fee of zero dollars, as her fees are waived. If you are ready to provide the active, loving home that Viola deserves, don't hesitate!
