Meet Blossom, a delightful young dog believed to be around 2 years old and weighing approximately 9 pounds. This Shih Tzu/Maltese mix is adjusting to a new life after coming from a hoarding situation. She's learning how to enjoy life and recently had her first haircut, which transformed her look. Blossom tends to be a bit skittish, so a home with another dog is strongly preferred, as it helps her feel secure. When she can't find her foster sister, anxiety sets in. Thankfully, she sleeps quietly through the night in her crate, snuggled up with her canine companion. Blossom is discovering the joys of people and toys, and she's making progress with her leash skills and potty training. A fenced yard would be a great bonus for her activity needs. To help her become the best companion she can be, a training class is required within six months of adoption.
