About Branson

Branson is in foster care in Houston, Texas, and he's ready to find his forever home. This spirited dog is approximately 1 year old and weighs 14 lbs. He shines with a beautiful, thick, soft grey and white coat complemented by a big curly tail. Branson is playful and loves engaging with other dogs, but he can overwhelm smaller ones that aren’t interested in playtime. While he has an abundance of energy, he also knows how to kick back and relax at your feet. He still exhibits some puppy behaviors, like nipping when excited, which means he may not be the best fit for homes with small children. He seems to be well house trained, though there’s room for improvement, especially with leash manners as he tends to pull. A secure, fenced yard is a must for him to thrive. Branson would be a great companion for another energetic dog or could flourish as an only pet. Interested adopters should note that the adoption fee is $500, and we prioritize experienced dog owners and homes with no children under 8 years old. Click apply to start the adoption process.
