DOB: 11/15/2018 Weight: 13# Lucas was recently returned after 3 years with his family. I was told that he was biting the kids. Minpins can be naturally assertive, and he was trying to be the bossy boss when he first came back into foster care. He was depressed for a while. But quickly acclimated back into the pack and I've had no behavioral issues with him since. His vaccines are coming due November 2024. So, I'll try to get him into the vet and update everything if he has an interested adopter. Overall, he's a super low maintenance little guy. He's pretty happy go lucky, can be a little bossy. He gets excited for food and potty time. But otherwise, mostly hangs out napping. He had some sort of accident in his previous home and is a little sensitive about his hind leg and would probably benefit from pain meds or joint support. His ears and tail are also irritated and he’s sensitive about them being touched. But allows me to put ointment on them. He would do best in an adult only home. He would be ok as an only dog or with other dogs that are gentle. He’s good in the car and likes short walks. If there are any fencing issues, make sure that repairs are done prior to the home visit. Typically, the adoption is finalized the day after the home visit and meet and greet. Out of area adopters would need to drive/fly in to meet the dogs and adopt.
