About Grimmy
Grimmy started life on some tough streets but landed safely thanks to a caring local. His background suggests Chihuahua and Shih Tzu, and he certainly has the best elements of both: a scruffy coat, a cute underbite, and a strong desire to be with people. He’s small (check his last weigh-in: 8.7 lbs), sweet, and very affectionate. Grimmy will greet you with an arm wave when he wants attention—he’s learned that trick comes with perks. He loves being carried around and needs some work on leash training, so expect to do some gentle coaching if you want him to join you for walks. Right now he’s thriving with other little dogs in his foster group and has a strong preference for a home with at least one playful small dog. He’s also fine with cats and children, and does well in the play pack. Note: Grimmy isn't house trained yet and can't have access to doggie doors. His full veterinary work is up to date, including being neutered and microchipped. He’s looking for an adopter ready for a bit of training and a lot of affection. Ready to meet your new best friend?
