About Hardy

Click apply to start the adoption process. Hardy is a resilient Miniature Pinscher whose journey has been anything but easy. Discovered on the Hardy Toll road after a traumatic ordeal, he has spent over two years healing both physically and emotionally. Thanks to the patience and love of his caregivers, Hardy has become a sweet and well-tempered companion who enjoys snuggling on the sofa, basking in the comfort of fluffy blankets, and going for gentle car rides. While Hardy gets along well with other foster dogs, he is still timid on a leash. For this reason, he would do best in a calm, quiet home with a securely fenced backyard. Homes with small children, doggie doors, or unfenced in-ground pools aren't the best fit for him. Hardy is seeking a patient family committed to earning the trust and love of a rescue dog. A good vet reference and committed heartworm prevention are required for his adoption. Out-of-area adopters are welcome but must travel to meet him in person. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
