About Jasmine
Jasmine has come a long way since her days running the streets of Houston, TX. After a tough start in life—dodging cruelty and scavenging for help outside apartment buildings—she finally found the right person who got her to safety. In her foster home, Jasmine has shown just how resilient and adaptable she is. Although she lost full use of her front leg after an accident (a flying leap over a baby gate), she's still quick on her feet and doesn’t let it slow her down. This medium-sized American Bully/Dachshund mix is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and thriving after overcoming anemia and parasites. Jasmine is smart, eager to please, and has a funny, energetic side—she'll zoom around the house flinging toys, then crash out for some well-earned snuggles. She loves meeting neighbors on walks, is good on a leash, rides well in the car, and is doing great with crate training. Jasmine gets along with children and small dogs but is more cautious around bigger dogs after her street experiences. Cats and squirrels tend to pique her chase instinct, so a feline-free home suits her best. She’s ready for an adopter who wants a companion for both active adventures and lazy couch sessions. Jasmine is waiting to share her big-hearted spirit and become part of your everyday life. Adoption in person is required for out-of-area adopters. Click apply to start the adoption process.
