Meet Kodi! This friendly and playful 9-month-old male Great Pyrenees is a bundle of affection. Weighing in at 63 lbs, he still has plenty of growing to do and could reach 80-100 lbs when he's fully grown. Kodi has a sweet nature, eagerly greeting everyone he meets, earning him fans on trips to the local fire station. This affectionate boy loves to lean against you for cuddles and begs for belly rubs, making him a joy to be around. In his foster home, Kodi interacts wonderfully with older children and enjoys playtime. While he’s gentle, his energy level means supervision is recommended around small children and seniors. He's playful yet knows how to unwind after a fun session with his toys. Initially, he mistook shoes for toys, but he has learned the difference and keeps his playtime to appropriate items. Kodi gets along exceptionally well with dogs, whether playing or napping in the same room, and he shows interest in new dog friends. He has overcome some initial food guarding issues and now happily eats in the company of others. Kodi is also good with cats, respecting their space while enjoying playful interactions. He enjoys barking at the garbage truck and odd TV sounds, adding a bit of personality to the home. Walks are fun for him, although he might pull a bit to say hello to passersby. Kodi is house trained, signals when he needs to go out, and is also crate trained, using it for meals and bedtime but preferring to sleep near his humans. This lovable, goofy boy will make a terrific addition to any family lucky enough to adopt him. Kodi is currently in a foster home in Garland, TX, and must be met in person.
