About Kona
Kona is a joyful and affectionate male Great Pyrenees puppy currently around 4 months old, weighing in at 26 lbs. He was unfortunately found abandoned with his brother, but he has quickly adjusted to a loving foster home where he thrives. This playful pup adores attention and loves to rest his head in your lap for cuddles. While he hasn't met many children yet, his friendly demeanor suggests he would do well in a home with kids. His playful antics often include zooming around and tearing up plush toys, especially during mealtime when he can barely contain his excitement. Kona enjoys the company of other dogs, especially large ones, and is in the process of learning how to be gentle with cats. He demonstrates intelligence by learning commands like 'Sit,' 'Shake,' and 'Down.' Though he might have a little leash chewing habit during walks, he's generally good on a leash and even enjoys car rides and baths. While he barks briefly when left alone, he quickly settles down. Kona is neutered, house trained, and ready for a forever home. His ideal adoptive family will have another dog present to help him learn and play. Located in Garland, TX, Kona's adoption fee is $300, with the option for out-of-state adopters to arrange their own transport. Don't wait to meet this lovable goof; your new best friend is just a click away!
