About Bailey

Bailey is a wonderful Great Pyrenees looking for a forever home after being rescued from a difficult situation. At around 4-6 years old and 90 lbs, he's a big, gentle guy who thrives on human companionship and loves belly rubs. Bailey is great with kids, including babies, and while he might initially be cautious or bark at strangers, he quickly warms up once he senses kindness. He gets along with female dogs with some slow introductions but has had trouble with unaltered male dogs. While he enjoys the occasional tug of war, he can display some leash reactivity during walks. He’s indifferent toward neighborhood cats, and generally, he’s a laid-back companion who adjusts to your mood. Bailey enjoys car rides and has a soft spot for pup cups at Starbucks. He’s eager to please and has mastered commands like 'Sit', 'Stay', and 'Lay Down'. Though he may bark when people pass the house, he is house trained, though he has marked in the past due to anxiety. Neutered and up to date on vaccines, Bailey is ready to share his love with someone special. He’s currently in a foster home in Garland, TX, and they’re open to working with out-of-state adopters who can arrange transport. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
